Propane Tank Submarine

Just a quickie, but I have to share this.

So this guy in my Bio Lab came off as a complete selfish dick. He honestly did. Confidence is hard to handle, I know. But, today, he shared something with our group that made us all literally ask, "Why have you never shown this before?"

He's the guy in the black hat.
His name is Andy.
He, his father, and a family friend built this for shits and giggles.
We were all fucking blown away.
I asked if he ever took dates in it. He laughed, but it was a serious question. All three of us girls agreed that would be a kickass first date. What we didn't share is that is a sure fire way to get laid... And in a submarine too.

Ahoy, Future Ahead!

First off, have a short, short, short film (2 minutes, 15 seconds long) that a woman posted on her blog Polly-vous Francais? It's quite hilarious.
http://vimeo.com/37009237
I didn't want to post the video itself because I hate what it does to my page, so, just click the link and I swear to you that it's not porn.

Me - if they think I'm honestly angry over something then I'm not going to correct them and say, "Guys, I was being sarcastic."
Amanda - Geez, you must have an awful opinion of people. Honestly, if they think somthing incorrectly of you and then you don't correct them and knock off 10% of their intelligence. People must be idiots to you.
Me - Hey, if they don't ask and just assume I'm not. It's their fault. And besides, I do.
Amanda - Well, at least it feeds your superiority complex, right?

Secondly, Jaccob made me "lmao" the other day. That hardly ever happens, folks:
Wow, five days ago - this hardly feels like five-days-ago material. I am slacking.

So, the other night (literally this time since there's not a time stamp to prove otherwise) I had a dream that me and Fallon were held up in some elementary school. So, she decides to start teaching me Magic. Ha.
Then I woke up because I had to pee (story of my life). Afterwards, I went back to sleep and dreamed that one of the guys then began to teach me Magic.
All in all, I believe this is a premonition and that I will be taught Magic sooner or later.
I would love to be able to see in the future like that. Well, I know Angel covered that line with Doyle, and That's So Raven also covered it with mundane teen life, Supernatural covered it in an episode with that writer, and what else... Oh yeah, that stupid fucking Premonition movie with Sandra Bullock.
Me, I'd let it happen.
I saw someone lose a leg. Welp, Doctor Who says it's a fixed point in time, no way to argue with that. Unless it was MY leg, then I'd break the rules and have dinosaurs, and hot air balloons, and have Winston Churchill as the king of time-fucked land, AND have the Silence lumbering around, doing their side-head they do before they kill.
Yes, all for a leg because I'm worth that much time-gold.

Good day, sir! I said good day!

What A Fun Night

May - Daddy, you're not buckled! You're not buckled!
Me - *turning to the kid* Well, see, May, your dad is an anarchist.

There are more conversations that I cannot remember ... Story of my life.

This is Zoey, Todd and Alura's cat. She's in my purse, just cuddled in there. I thought it was adorable, but no one is really allowed to show affection on her.

Game was good last night. I got some speaking parts - which I think I talked too much for my character, but whatever. I'm thinking of a master plan to thwart all the other characters. I'm purposely a bitch and I love it. Of course, I still cooperate, Todd, I do. You know I do. The game is taking on a sci-fi turn and I'm loving it. There's some time vortex shit happening and I'm in love. I really want this a book - it'll be good.

FYI, Todd-ster, I have no idea where I'm going with Hex. Ha. I am winging it all the way.

TODAY, I went to Becky's house again where I proceeded to oversee them knitting. Becky is my star pupil (haha, Fallon). She's really took it on and just basically learns the technique and then masters it. Fallon IS DOING WELL TOO. Slow and steady wins the race, girl.

This is Fallon's first square in knitting. It was very good! I am so proud ;( Makes me happy I'm teaching. The yearning for friend knitters has been strong with this one. Ha. Ha. Ha. Wish Becky's kids didn't unravel hers so I could have two to show. I am so proud it hurts.

Sharoll, their Mother-in-law, taught me how to make a straight line on the sewing machine. Very excited. Makes me very, very happy. I want to line the insides of my purses and I want to sew quilts. Quilting excites me, believe it or not.

I accomplished that and am happy with my lines. I was once afraid, but now I see. I do hope she doesn't mind me tagging along in this sewing endeavor. I just really want to learn how to quilt. OH IF I WAS 70-YEARS-OLD.

Wow, I need to start carrying around a pad and paper for blog entry.

Flash Mob

I am jealous of anyone who can play an instrument - yes, even their voice.
I want to learn the piano so badly.

Sunday, June 3, 2012

Phew

Helped Fallon today paint her bedroom. Oh yeah, two college girls painting a bedroom. Well, I have previous experience since I worked with my father for a year. When I came home, I told him how proud I was that I could cut in and paint base. Then I imitated him saying how hard it usually is. I actually made him laugh. Good day.

I don't know why that's blurry. I such at photography.

I will name her Arwen. I will hug her and and pet her and squeeze her. This little doll climbed up my neck to sleep on my shoulder and did so with leaving her marks. Oh well, cuteness does override pain. Seeing all your animals, Fallon, had me put Princess in my lap. He's nearly asleep now with his chin on my thigh.

Fallon and I have grown closer because of said events. We talked and made plans for next Sunday. Utility room, hiking, and Mexican food.

AND I did have to look up the quote to Looney Tunes since I couldn't remember the exact phrasing. I don't know why I don't watch these more.
Daffy Duck is all like, "You are hurting me. Put me down please," so calmly. I have to pause to laugh. No, seriously.
HERE'S THE LINK, MINIONS.

Now to draw more things on my iPad and email them to people. So far I've hit Fallon, Marina, Jake and Amanda (my hot lesbian friend who has no other thoughts but other how to sexually entertain men).
Again, was that joke too long?

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

you're just trying to get me back now.

I've been digging through my oldie music files.
It's been very entertaining as of late. I feel so old. Remembering when these singles came out and when a band would form and break up a year later or so.
ARGH.
I'm turning 21 in less than a month and I'm so depressed.
I don't want to grow up?
B-o-o h-o-o.
I mean... I just head-banged to this song and got lightheaded.
WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?
Soon I can't wake up in the morning without coffee and complain about needing a nap halfway through the day.
OR, omg, can't stay up past 2AM.
And talking about insurance and what happened at the job today would be EXCITING.
Songs, from my generation, will, one day, be on an oldies station.
Computers, gadgets and all other new-age technology would be like trying to work on a car for me. I won't understand it and have my kids help explain everything. Then I still won't understand it and I'll get angry because I'm confused.
Maybe, one day, google will cease to exist and I will remember when it launched.

Btw, decided what I wanted to do with my life - Want to live in Japan. That's about it, haha.

I love it when I play old hippie oldies from the late 70s to early 80s and my mom can just sing them like it was yesterday ha.
Yesterday it was The Steve Miller Band - The Joker.
(If I was singing to that song really loudly, that one night I was followed by a cop, I would understand why he followed.)

My hair dried like that and it was so boyish I had to pic it.

In the meantime, enjoy this video of Princess chasing his tail.

Marina, Cricket and I all went to the Hookah Lounge.
Amazing.
We all had a good time and the only white guy who works there liked my purse.
I'll have more pics of us later on when I get them from Marina. In one of them, when I was positioning myself, I nearly knocked over the hookah. Marina, you screamed like a little bitch. That white guy looked over so quickly, haha.

OH MY OH MY.
Legion is one HORRIBLE movie. The only good part had to be the father and son duo. ('But Pa, I'm only retarded a little.')
That movie is possibly the worst of 2009 or whenever it fucking came out. Who in the hell thought they would make money off it? Honestly?

Cricket - I met ichi's friend today.
Me - Marina.
Cricket - Oh, I was wanting to call her Marena or something like that so I didn't.
Me - You should. Even after she corrects you just keep doing it.
(*this is just a reminder... I still want you to do that.)

Then I was getting aggravated because everyone had their own lighter and I'm not used to it so I kept trying to hand it over. Haha. Then I was raving about a system I had and how I loved that I didn't have to move my elbow on my knee. Just afterward I started drumming on my thighs. For a good two minutes, doing little tunes.

*Cricket turns to her computer to turn on Tom Petty*
Me - Press T. Just press T.
Cricket - *still going through her music*
Me - Press T. Just PRESS T.
Cricket - *presses a button that I can't see and Tom Petty starts to play*

I love the 80s. I don't know if any of you have noticed. I often tell strangers, family, friends that I need to be born in 1965. Then, I would be 15 when the 80s hit and would be old enough for most of the movies, then be plenty old enough to go to concerts. I would be old enough to relate to everything.
Ack, I love the teased hair, clothes that aren't supposed to match and the dance moves (no, not only footloose).
Only one problem with the equation though... I would be an adult in the 90s. I hate the 90s. It's an ugly decade permanently marked on the universe's time. Heroine sheik? Bleck. I do like, however, a lot of the music from the 90s.
